About Odisha Adarsh Vidyalaya Sangathan:
Odisha Adarsha Vidyalaya Sangathan established on 19th September 2015. The establishment took under the Society Registration Act of Odisha. Sangathan being an apex body that is headed by Hon’ble Minister, an Executive Body headed by DC-cum-ACS as Chairman, School & Mass Education as Chairman.
Objectives involve:
- Setting up of Model Schools – one in every Educationally Backward Blocks.
- Will have an infrastructure & facilities of the same standard as of Kendriya Vidyalayas.
- Model schools will have adequate ICT infrastructure, Internet connectivity, and full-time computer teachers.
- Establishment of new schools or existing schools may take conversion into Model schools.
Vision:
- To provide a high-quality English Medium School “Odisha Adarsha Vidyalaya” in each block headquarter across the State.
- It will have infrastructure and facilities as in a Kendriya Vidyalaya.
- Classes will be from VI-XII having 02 Sections in each class.
- Stipulations on the pupil-teacher ratio, holistic educational environment, ICT usages appropriate curriculum, and emphasis on output and outcome.
